1. The warm-up that was the most helpful was the sign language A. This helped me the most because I realized that you can use the most simple of shapes to make more complex structures such as a hand. 2. Value- is the element of design that defines the lights and darks in an artwork. Composition- is the placement of visual elements or ingredients in a work of art, as distinct from the subject of work. 3. Pen- Pros: you can make dark, specific lines with the tool Cons: It cannot erase and you can make mistakes easier than if it were pencil or charcoal Charcoal- Pros: if you do not like what you drew you can rub it into the background Cons: it is extremely messy and if you accidentally rub it your work could be erased Pencil- Pros: if you make a mistake while driving you can erase it, there are also many different types of pencils that make it darker or lighter so you see a greater contrast Cons: it can be erased easily and is not permanent |
